Preservation Architect

We are in search of a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring they remain stable and safe for future generations. This role requires experience in architectural design and construction, as well as knowledge of preservation techniques and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings to determine preservation needs
- Develop plans for restoration and preservation projects, including cost estimates and timelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper execution of preservation plans
- Source appropriate materials for restoration projects while adhering to budget constraints
- Supervise construction teams to ensure work is completed according to preservation standards
- Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in architectural design and construction, with a focus on preservation
- Strong knowledge of preservation techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve on the job
