Database Administrator


As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, as well as monitoring performance and ensuring data security. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise and providing support to users. This is a contract position located in Remish, with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database systems based on business requirements
- Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery planning
- Troubleshoot any issues with databases or related applications
- Provide support to users, including training and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure data integration and compatibility
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and implement new technologies when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with database design, implementation, and maintenance
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
