Mechanic - Contract Position in Split, Croatia


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team on a contract basis in Split, Croatia. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Repair or replace damaged parts using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed and provide estimates for cost and time required
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and techniques

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a mechanic
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English

Salary: $1600 per month (salary may vary based on experience)
