Baker Assistant

We are in search of a hardworking and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker Assistant in Bungoma. As a Baker Assistant, you will assist the head baker in preparing and baking various breads, pastries, and other baked goods. No prior experience is required for this full-time role, making it an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the baking industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist head baker with measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings for various baked goods
- Operate ovens and other baking equipment under the guidance of the head baker
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Assist with decorating and packaging finished products

Requirements:
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Basic understanding of baking techniques
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willingness to learn and take direction from head baker

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment
- Knowledge of different types of breads and pastries
- Fluent in Nepali language (knowledge of English is a plus)
