Waiter/Waitress - Fine Dining Restaurant (Svalbard)


We are a high-end fine dining restaurant located in the picturesque city of Svalbard. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to our guests, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus, take orders, and make recommendations based on guests' preferences
- Ensure accuracy in food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks to guests with attention to detail and presentation
- Respond promptly to any guest requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floor
- Ensure proper set up for each shift by polishing silverware, folding napkins, etc.
- Handle payments and provide accurate change to guests
- Assist with restocking supplies and inventory management

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining establishment preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of wine pairings
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have excellent customer service skills

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month. No accommodation is provided. However, we can assist with finding suitable housing options.
