Hotel Sales Manager - Part Time (Svalbard)


We are currently hiring a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Svalbard. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel through effective marketing strategies and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to increase hotel bookings and revenue
- Identify potential clients, conduct cold calls, and attend networking events to generate new business opportunities
- Maintain existing client relationships through regular communication and providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to create attractive packages, promotions, and pricing strategies to attract customers
- Monitor market trends, competitors' activities, and customer feedback to make informed decisions on sales strategies
- Prepare sales reports and present them to management for evaluation
- Manage the hotel's online presence by regularly updating content on social media platforms, website, and online travel agencies
- Assist with reservation inquiries, bookings, and cancellations when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and marketing principles
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The salary for this role is 1000$ per month. Please note that this position does not include accommodation. However, we offer a free visa application process as well as a complimentary round-trip ticket to Svalbard for the successful candidate.
