Network and Systems Administrator - Part Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Bergen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing networks and systems, with experience in both Windows and Linux environments. This part-time position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ and includes accommodation. As this role requires access to sensitive information, candidates must have a biometric passport for security purposes.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security systems
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform regular maintenance tasks
- Install, configure, and maintain server systems on both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability for critical applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and other network resources
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Linux/Unix operating systems
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and virtual private networks (VPN)
- Experience with data backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
