Hotel Sales Manager

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to attract and retain guests at our hotel in Bergen. Your primary goal will be to increase revenue and occupancy levels through effective sales techniques and building strong relationships with clients. You will also work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional offers and packages, as well as monitor industry trends to stay competitive in the market. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in hotel sales, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong knowledge of the Bergen hospitality market. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Build relationships with potential clients through networking events, trade shows, and sales calls
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event planners
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create attractive promotions and packages
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
- Train and motivate the sales team to maximize their potential

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Proven experience in hotel sales or related field
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of the Bergen hospitality market
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Location: This position is based in Bergen, Norway.

Salary: $1700 per month.
