Cashier - Contract Position in Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team in Funchal, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for someone with previous cashier experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and inventory management
- Keep checkout area clean and organized
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining store appearance

Requirements:
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This position is located in Funchal, Portugal. Applicants must be willing to relocate or currently reside in Funchal.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. However, there is potential for extension based on performance.

Freshers Welcome:
