We are searching for a skilled and reliable Crane Operator to join our team on a part-time basis in Porto. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes. Your primary duties will include safely moving heavy materials and equipment at construction sites or in industrial settings.
To excel in this role, you must have a valid crane operator license and prior experience operating cranes. You should also possess strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to work under pressure. Additionally, you must be physically fit as the job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials
- Inspect crane equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes as needed
- Keep track of inventory and report any malfunctions or damages
