Merchandiser (Funchal)



As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed and promoted in retail stores in Funchal, Portugal. Your main objective will be to increase sales and enhance the overall customer experience. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail stores on a regular basis to monitor product display and availability
- Set up displays and arrange products according to company guidelines
- Negotiate product placement and promotional opportunities with store managers
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock needs or issues to the appropriate teams
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor strategies
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective marketing strategies
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior in Funchal, Portugal
- Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
- Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings when needed
