Welder Assistant



We are in need of a skilled Welder Assistant to join our team at our steel fabrication company in Dar Kulaib. In this role, you will assist our experienced welders with various tasks such as welding, cutting, grinding, and assembling metal parts. The ideal candidate will be physically fit and have a strong work ethic. Prior experience is not required as we are willing to provide on-the-job training. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided, so this position would be best suited for someone who already resides in or near Dar Kulaib.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting welders with setting up and preparing materials for welding
- Operating welding equipment and tools under the guidance of experienced welders
- Cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment
- Following safety protocols at all times
- Learning and improving welding techniques through on-the-job training

Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Availability for part-time work schedule

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or welding is an asset but not required
- Familiarity with welding equipment and tools is a plus
- Certification or training in welding is a bonus
