Industrial alpinism vacancy in Almada Portugal

Industrial Alpinist

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Almada. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights and in difficult-to-reach locations, such as industrial chimneys, towers, bridges, and offshore structures. Your main duties will include cleaning, painting, inspection, maintenance, and construction work using specialized rope techniques.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and regulations. You must also possess excellent physical fitness and be comfortable working at heights for extended periods of time. Previous experience in industrial alpinism is not required but would be considered a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Use specialized rope techniques to access and work at great heights
- Perform cleaning, painting, inspection, maintenance, and construction tasks
- Follow strict safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Complete tasks efficiently while adhering to quality standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in industrial alpinism is preferred
- Physically fit with no fear of working at great heights for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of industrial safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills would be considered a plus)
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

This role is based in Almada. Applicants must have their own accommodation arrangements.
