Network and Systems Administrator

The Network and Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our company's computer network and systems. This includes ensuring the security, availability, and performance of all network resources, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have experience in network administration, systems administration, and IT support. They should be familiar with a variety of operating systems and have strong knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Main responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Maintain network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network and system issues
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies in the field of networking and systems administration
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan upgrades and expansions for the company's network infrastructure

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or systems administration
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP)
- Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently

This is a full-time position located in Triesen. Salary is 1200$ per month without accommodation provided. Candidates must have a biometric passport from Nepal or be willing to obtain one.
