Biometric Passport Computer Engineer in Abu Dhabi


We are hiring a skilled Computer Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi to help us design and develop biometric passport systems. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining software and hardware solutions for biometric passport technology. Your primary task will be to ensure that our systems are efficient, functional, and secure. You will work closely with our team of engineers and developers to implement new features and improve existing ones. The ideal candidate should have experience in software development, hardware integration, and knowledge of biometric technology.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for biometric passport systems
- Conduct system analysis and testing to ensure functionality, efficiency, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in the field of biometrics
- Follow industry best practices for software development and security standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Computer Engineer or similar role
- Experience with software development languages such as C++, Java or Python
- Familiarity with hardware integration processes
- Knowledge of biometric technology including fingerprint scanners, facial recognition, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Abu Dhabi.

Preference:
This job is open to Kenyan nationals who have experience working with biometric technology. Fluency in English is not required but would be considered an asset.
