Contract Metal Worker


We are a metal fabrication company located in La-Condamine and we are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team on a contract basis. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal pieces according to specifications using various tools and techniques.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Metal Worker
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with different types of metal and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with potential for long-term employment

Responsibilities:
- Study technical drawings and plan the sequence of operations for each project
- Cut, shape, and join metal pieces using various techniques such as welding, soldering, bolting, or riveting
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces before cutting or shaping them
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy before delivery
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times
