Fleet planners have a variety of duties, which can consist of: Maintaining a fleet inventory of all cars possessed by the business, including their make and design, purchase day, current gas mileage, and any kind of impressive repair work that require to be made Making sure that all firm automobiles are insured and registered Collaborating with 3rd party suppliers to arrange repair and maintenance solutions for automobiles Keeping records of gas usage and also mileage for every car in order to prepare billings for payment purposes Interacting with suppliers or clients pertaining to service appointments for each vehicle Collaborating with insurer to file cases for damaged automobiles Coverage lorry crashes or other events including company lorries to insurer or lawful departments as proper Collaborating with the personnels department to schedule employee training on firm cars or devices Coordinating with the audit division to set up for repayment for solutions made Setting up and making routines for the drivers, handbook participation and etc .
