Keller Engineers of New Jersey has an immediate opening for a full-time Department Manager with 15-25+ years’ experience to oversee and manage our projects while mentoring and growing our team of NICET certified construction management/inspection professionals.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is looking for a leadership position with a growing company. Additionally, there is an opportunity to become an Associate and Shareholder with the Firm. Keller Engineers has been providing construction management, inspection, and Primavera scheduling to NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, Private Agencies, NJ Counties and Municipalities. Job Description and Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with PE License in New Jersey or NICET in Highway Construction Level IV;Surface transportation (infrastructure) Agency experience; i.e., NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, NJT, Counties and Municipalities;Successful track record of bringing in new work from proposal development and business development strategies;Ability to manage and oversee Agency-led construction projects for the clientele above;Experience with quality assurance/quality control, contract negotiations, cost control and construction administration;Strong embedded relationships with the transportation engineering community;Experience to operate in a Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer capacity if needed; andPossess excellent verbal and written skills.
