We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team!

Playwing is an international product company, our portfolio contains a variety of different services across several departments.

About the project: Our E-commerce products are related to the development of various marketplaces and are hosted on several AWS accounts. You will be part of the DevOps team of 3 DevOps Engineers and provide DevOps as a Service for several PHP Development teams.

We are expanding staff due to the high operational load + infrastructure changes are coming. Therefore, the tasks will be both Dev and Ops.

Tech Stack:

AWS for products: RDS, EC2, ElastiCache, Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, EBS

GCP as a tool for DevOps

CI/CD: Jenkins

Monitoring: Grafana, Zabbix, CloudWatch

Application Logging: ELK stack

Web Server: Apache (legacy apps) / Nginx

DB: MySQL / MariaDB

Job Description:

• Design and implement a CI/CD setup on several platforms;
• Participate in architectural choices;
• Define migration plans taking into account project constraints;
• Prepare engineering environments hosted on cloud solutions;
• Perform data migration and validate each migration with project representatives, document migration procedures, migration plans, service requests, and solutions to incidents.

Requirements:

• Personal qualities (competence, responsibility, etc.);
• ~2 years in DevOps Role (Sysadmin or Dev background);
• ~1-year experience with AWS (preferably) or GCP or Azure;
• Expertise in Containerization (Docker, ECS/CloudRun, EKS/GKE/AKS/k8s - nice to have);
• Expertise in Jenkins CI/CD (Pipeline vs UI);
• English at least for email/Slack/Skype communication.
