Manager vacancy in Almaty Kazakhstan

Playwing is looking for a QA Manager who will successfully manage functional QA teams!

Requirements:

• Knowledge of test case management tools (TestRail, TM4J, etc);
• In depth understanding of formal test and development processes;
• Understanding of agile-based SDLCs (Scrum/Kanban);
• Experience with API Contract verification using tools such as Swagger or REST Docs;
• Experience with RESTful API web service execution and validation using tools such as Postman;
• Experience in working with databases (NoSQL is an advantage);
• Ability to establish QA processes from scratch with further monitoring and control, including creation and maintenance of supportive artifacts, procedures, and metrics;
• Strong project and time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher;
• Previous managerial experience as a team leader is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Define and monitor testing procedures and practices: test management, defect management and tracking management;
• Provide insights about production quality and prepare improvement plans to improve quality for low-quality areas;
• Review and present different types of QA deliverables including reports;
• Track and provide QA statuses to stakeholders;
• Planning and estimating the testing activities, tasks prioritization;
• Adapt the testing strategy to the projects expansion;
• Implement testing policies, procedures and standards across companys products;
• Supervise and coordinate over the whole test process cycle;
• Participate in the interviews of new team members, guide the onboarding process;
• Participate in the team performance review process;
• Collaborating with the 3rd Party Teams (External Partners, Testing Tools, etc).
