Responsibilities
• Develop feasible construction designs in accordance with applicable codes
• Prepare detailed engineering specs, cost estimates and construction schedules
• Analyze and modify designs for environmental, logistic or operational considerations
• Investigate soil, rock and terrain conditions with surveys, mapping tools and other methods
• Monitor construction sites and workers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Inspect and approve private and public projects
