Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing and maintaining the electrical infrastructure, equipment and services in Doha, Qatar. This includes operating electrical and electronic components, systems, networks and software to ensure their safe and optimal performance. The Engineer must also be capable of researching, designing and developing new technologies and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, create and implement electrical engineering plans, regulations and standards.

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans, to ensure that all critical electrical equipment runs optimally and safely.

• Raise any safety hazards to management and rectify faults as needed.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical problems and take corrective action as needed.

• Maintain and update technical information, drawings and schematics, to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Office-based analysis and exploration of current and new technologies, maintenance protocols and all related electrical engineering processes
