The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, major overhauls, preventive maintenance and general maintenance of vehicles. This includes conducting inspections and diagnostics to determine the nature of the mechanical problems and then making the appropriate repairs. Other tasks include replacing or repairing parts, eliminating errors, and compiling records of their work.

The ideal Mechanic should have an advanced understanding of vehicle systems and general automotive repair. The successful candidate should also have a valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety procedures. Knowledge of vehicular safety and maintenance regulations is essential, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills
