Librarian in Dubai, UAE


We are currently seeking for a motivated and experienced Librarian for our library in Dubai.

Reporting directly to the Library Manager, the successful candidate will organize, catalogue and manage library resources, functions and the daily workflow. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the library processes and procedures and be able to apply them in order to answer patron inquiries and provide research assistance.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

- A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimal experience in library or archival management
- Familiarity with information science and technology
- Good communication, research and organizational abilities
- A talent for customer service
- Flexibility and initiative

We offer a competitive salary of 1600 per month and are willing to consider applicants from outside of the country.
