The Chemist’s main responsibility is to analyze materials, perform experiments and tests and develop new methods for improving quality and efficiency. Job Description: • Monitor and analyze results of experiments and tests, maintain accurate records • Develop new techniques, methods and strategies for better chemists • Build relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders • Monitor the lab equipment and ensure it is compatible with the research and development activities • Perform preventative maintenance and ensure the lab is fully equipped • Document and evaluate laboratory activities • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed • Analyze various lab results in order to detect any inconsistencies • Develop research projects and their methods of execution Qualification Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience
