Job Summary

Job Duties and Responsibilities
-Conduct research into project specifications and develop technical designs for civil works
-Manage staff and contractors working on construction sites
-Analyze soil and other material samples to determine the engineering requirements for projects
-Provide specialized recommendations and advice to construction crews
-Ensure all projects comply with local, national and international engineering codes and regulations and standards
-Inspect and assess current civil works, such as bridges, culverts and roads
-Create technical drawings, diagrams and maps
-Create reports and documentation on construction projects
-Maintain project records
