Job Summary:

We are a library in Dubai, seeking a highly organized and experienced librarian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all library functions with a focus on providing great customer service and expanding the library collection. This is a full-time position, with a salary of 1300 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide reference services, including reader's advisory and information literacy
- Develop library collection through acquisition, evaluation and weeding
- Assist library patrons with the use of library resources
- Develop and maintain library databases
- Develop online library instruction and services
- Maintain library facilities, equipment and supplies
- Oversee outreach activities
- Prepare reports, correspondence and documents

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Library or Information Science
- At least one year of library experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with library automation systems
