Pastry Chef - We are looking for a Pastry Chef
We are looking for a Pastry Chef who will lead and manage the pastry and baker teams, supervising the quality of the production for the Restaurant, Bar, Banquets, and In-Room Dining.
The Pastry Chef possess strong food and beverage knowledge and the aptitude to plan, organize, control, and direct the work of employees in the culinary department. This person will have strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service. Prior experience in a mixed-use residential hotel is preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the Kitchen’s bake/pastry shop through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.

Assist in the planning and development of recipes and ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration.
