About the general responsibilities;

• Works closely with other Outlet employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
• Maintains par stocks of all equipment and guest supplies as required.
• Assist in opening (including mise en place) set up and closing of the outlet and communicate the information necessary to ensure a smooth handover before a break and at the end of a shift.
• Seats, takes orders and serves food and beverage to guest according to the established sequence and procedures.
• Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
• Maintain a complete knowledge of menu items, and of the services and operating times of the Hotel outlets.
• Presents menu, answers enquiries and makes suggestions regarding food, beverage as well as recommending wines to complement food.
• Respond to guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, both in person and on the telephone
• Provide excellent service to serve food and beverage to restaurant guests.
• Opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar
• Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen
• Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
• Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers
