Job Duties:
•Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment in residential, commercial and industrial settings
•Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and ensure compliance with codes
•Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components and replace damaged wiring, equipment, and fixtures
•Direct and advise assistants and helpers during installation of new electrical systems
•Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices
•Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment
•Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on specifications and following established safety procedures
