Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced optometrist to join our team and provide excellent eye care services to our patients in Sharjah. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in optometry to diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the eye. This position offers an excellent salary of 1400 AED per month. We are willing to consider applications from immigrants.

Job Description
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients at our practice in Sharjah, UAE. This includes carrying out comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing eye conditions and providing necessary treatments such as prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, prescribing medications and administering vision therapy. The Optometrist will also be responsible for educating patients regarding their eye health and recommending preventative measures such as regular checkups or lifestyle changes. In addition, the Optometrist will collaborate with other medical professionals including ophthalmologists in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities
• Carry out comprehensive eye examinations on patients
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration
• Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses according to patient needs
• Prescribe medications for treatment of various eye conditions
• Administer vision therapy as needed
• Educate patients about their eye health
• Monitor patient progress over time
• Collaborate with other medical professionals such as ophthalmologists
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from an accredited institution
• License to practice optometry from the Ministry of Health in UAE
• Knowledge of standard optometric techniques and procedures
• Ability to diagnose various diseases of the eyes
• Excellent communication skills
