Optometrist Vacancy - Bani Yas City

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Bani Yas City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional optometric care, including the prescription of corrective lenses, eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as other vision care services.

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualifications and have excellent knowledge of all aspects of optometry. They should possess strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision is also essential.

The responsibilities of the Optometrist include but are not limited to:
-Examine eyes and other parts of the visual system to diagnose sight problems, eye diseases and vision conditions;
-Prescribe corrective lenses, eyeglasses or contact lenses;
-Provide patient education on eye care maintenance and safety;
-Perform routine eye exams as well as pre-operative examinations;
-Monitor patients’ response to treatment and document changes;
-Refer patients to other specialists when necessary;
-Educate patients on contact lens wear, care, replacement and hygiene.
