The Executive Chef vacancy at Reef Al Fujairah City is a great opportunity for an experienced and talented individual to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the culinary department. The Executive Chef will manage all aspects of cuisine including menu development, staff management, budgeting and cost controls, quality assurance and food safety protocols.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, be driven to create innovative dishes and possess excellent culinary skills. They must have experience leading teams in high pressure environments with demonstrated success in developing team morale through effective training and motivation.

The Executive Chef's primary responsibility is to ensure that all food served meets the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations. They must develop menus that include a wide variety of cuisines from around the world while also ensuring that ingredients are fresh and cost-effective. This position requires excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to overseeing all kitchen staff operations, the Executive Chef will be responsible for developing training materials for new recruits; coordinating with vendors for supplies; conducting periodic inspections; ensuring equipment upkeep; monitoring food costs; managing inventory; creating daily specials; developing promotional activities; maintaining accurate records; participating in weekly meetings with other managers; ordering ingredients as needed; helping create profitable menus for special events; researching new recipes and techniques; designing plating techniques and presentation styles; providing guidance on appropriate portion sizes/costs/timescales/quality standards.
