Job Purpose:
The Executive Chef will lead the kitchen team in providing delicious, high-quality dishes for our customers. The chef will plan menu items according to customer tastes and preferences, as well as manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. The Executive Chef will also ensure the kitchen crew is properly trained in food safety and sanitation standards, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space.

Responsibilities:
• Plan menus that are creative, appetizing and cost effective
• Monitor food supplies, ordering when necessary while ensuring freshness of ingredients
• Ensure that all recipes are followed accurately
• Monitor portion control to maintain profit margins
• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure best prices on quality ingredients
• Hire, train and supervise staff in all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation standards
• Oversee sanitation practices to ensure that all food is prepared safely according to health regulations

Qualifications & Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience as an Executive Chef in similar establishments • In-depth knowledge of proper food handling techniques • Experience with budgeting and cost control • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • A passion for creating delicious dishes • Ability to work well under pressure • Flexibility in working hours • Willingness to consider an immigrant • Salary 1000 per month
