Job Summary
We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of oil exploration, production and refining processes. You will also be responsible for researching new technologies to improve efficiency, cost control and safety. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of petroleum engineering principles, and an understanding of the local regulatory framework.

Responsibilities
• Conduct research into oil exploration and production technologies to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness and safety
• Develop strategies for oil extraction that maximize returns while minimizing environmental impacts
• Generate reports on explorations, production processes and other activities
• Monitor operations to ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Monitor well performance data to detect problems or changes in reservoir fluid properties
• Develop plans for well testing procedures or modifications to existing wells
• Work with geologists in analyzing geological data from core samples
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop drilling programs
• Identify potential risks associated with drilling operations
• Analyze test results from well tests or laboratory analyses of core samples

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field required
• 5+ years of experience in the oil industry preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant local regulations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
