We are looking for a Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. We offer an attractive salary of 1400 and will consider an immigrant for the position.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing all engineering activities related to the development, production and maintenance of oil fields, as well as providing technical advice on oil field operations.
Needs for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of petroleum engineering principles, practices, equipment, safety procedures, regulations and standards. They must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision while showing strong problem-solving skills. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other departments within the organization.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Develop plans for exploration drilling activities using advanced software packages
• Analyze data from drilling operations to determine well performance
• Prepare reports on production performance and reservoir characteristics
• Recommend cost-effective solutions for improvement of overall unit performance
• Develop detailed plans for well completion operations
• Monitor production rates to ensure maximum efficiency
• Make recommendations on future development strategies
• Coordinate work activities between multiple departments within the organization
Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field is required. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Petroleum Engineer • Knowledgeable in well completion techniques such as hydraulic fracturing or sand control • Strong understanding of oil field equipment including pumps, compressors and valves • Proficient in various software packages such as AutoCAD or WellCad • Ability to interpret seismic data or other geophysical data is desirable • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field is required
