Chemical Engineer Job in Dubai

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes, maintaining safety standards, monitoring performance, and researching new technologies. You will also be expected to provide technical support to other departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing processes for the production of chemicals and other products on a large scale.
• Optimizing existing processes through automation or other improvements.
• Testing new process designs using laboratory equipment and computers.
• Investigating ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensuring that safety regulations are met during the manufacturing process.
• Maintaining records of operations and providing reports to management when necessary.
• Assisting other departments in problem-solving related to chemical engineering projects.
• Performing research into new technologies related to chemical engineering processes.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is required; master’s degree is preferred but not essential. • At least two years of relevant experience as a chemical engineer or similar role is essential; experience in the energy sector is desirable but not mandatory. • Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. • Good understanding of mathematics, physics, chemistry, materials science, process design, and thermodynamics is required; knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software is desirable but not essential. • Must be willing to work long hours when necessary, especially during project deadlines or peak periods of production activity.
