Accountant in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will be expected to analyze financial data, provide reports and advice to management on future financial plans.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should also have an eye for detail and the ability to spot errors. Your job duties will include but not limited to:

- Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
- Analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations
- Managing tax payments and returns
- Maintaining accurate records of all transactions
- Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risks
- Providing advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
- Identifying areas of improvement in internal processes
- Ensuring compliance with taxation legislation

The successful candidate must possess a degree in accounting or finance along with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. You must also have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations as well as proficiency in the use of MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
