Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. This position requires a passionate individual with an eye for detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling sensitive financial information as well as providing accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports; analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, invoicing and debt collection activities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile bank statements and various financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities that need to be addressed with management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations such as tax filing requirements; assist in the preparation of taxes for the organization or its clients when necessary.
• Develop internal control policies to ensure accuracy of accounting information; recommend changes in accounting systems or procedures when needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors, clients and other stakeholders; manage all external audits from beginning to end without any issues or delays.
• Participate in budgeting processes; analyze variances between actual costs incurred and budgeted amounts during the year-end closing process.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field is required; CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role is required
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills
