Waiter – Doha

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Waiter to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should be passionate about their work and possess a strong work ethic.

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience working as a waiter in a hospitality setting
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Must be eligible to work in Qatar (for foreigners)

Job Description:
The Waiter is responsible for providing superior customer service while taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing overall dining experience. The Waiter will greet all guests with a friendly demeanor and ensure that all guests are attended to in a timely manner. The Waiter will take orders accurately while upselling when appropriate. Additionally, the Waiter will clear away dishes from tables as needed, restock items as needed, maintain cleanliness of the restaurant dining areas, and assist other restaurant personnel when needed.

Responsibilities:
• Greet all guests courteously with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Take accurate food orders quickly
• Serve food orders quickly
• Serve beverages promptly
• Upsell additional menu items when appropriate
• Keep tables clean throughout service
• Clean up after guests leave including clearing away dishes from tables
• Restock items as necessary during service

Duties:
• Greet customers upon arrival at the restaurant
• Take customer orders accurately using POS system
• Deliver food items promptly ensuring accuracy of order
• Answer questions regarding menu items or specials of the day • Ensure that tables are cleared quickly between meals • Refill drinks during meal times as needed • Ensure that customers receive outstanding service at all times • Adhere to safety standards set by the restaurant • Maintain a clean work area at all times
