Civil Engineer in Doha, Qatar


We are looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Doha. Reporting directly to the Head of Design, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance on various civil engineering projects and activities.

The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, as well as experience working in a professional environment. The successful individual must also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently or part of a team.

The main responsibilities include:
• Evaluate existing structures, plans and drawings to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
• Analyse complex data from multiple sources to identify trends or anomalies
• Develop detailed plans, designs, cost estimates and schedules for various civil engineering projects
• Monitor progress of projects and provide support if needed
• Prepare reports related to design progress, cost estimations and other project related activities
• Provide technical guidance on civil engineering practices, codes and standards
• Liaise with stakeholders such as clients, contractors and government authorities regarding design plans and changes

The ideal candidate should possess:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience/qualification
• A valid driver’s license
• Previous experience working on civil engineering projects (preferred)
• Ability to take initiative when resolving technical challenges
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
