Land Surveyor Vacancy in Doha

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys and providing accurate data to inform decision making.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a Land Surveyor
- Knowledge of geospatial software and data collection methods
- Ability to read and interpret plans, maps, and other survey documents
- Experience with surveying software such as Total Station, AutoCad, and GIS
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must have a valid driving license

Job Description:

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys, analyzing data collected from survey activities, performing calculations related to measurements obtained from the survey, producing detailed survey reports as well as maps of the surveyed area. The Land Surveyor will also be responsible for preparing plans and drawings using specialized computer software programs. This position requires the individual to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using GPS equipment and other instruments such as total station equipment
- Analyze survey data collected from field activities
- Collect data needed for mapping projects
- Interpret aerial photographs, maps and other documents related to the survey project
- Prepare detailed reports including calculations related to measurements obtained from the survey
- Generate digital terrain models (DTMs) using specialized computer programs such as AutoCAD or GIS software packages
- Communicate with clients regarding project status updates

Salary: 1400 QAR/month
