Civil Engineer in Doha, Qatar


We are on the lookout for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning and managing the design and construction of civil engineering projects, as well as overseeing their maintenance and operations.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in the civil engineering field, preferably with a degree in Civil Engineering or related field. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this role.

The job involves assessing the feasibility of proposed projects, developing plans and designs and overseeing construction operations throughout all stages from conception to completion. The successful candidate should have excellent technical and project management skills as well as strong communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with other departments is essential.

The successful applicant will be expected to:
• Conduct research and analyze data on civil engineering problems such as transportation systems, water supply and drainage systems, pollution control systems and other public works facilities;
• Design plans for roads, bridges, retaining walls, foundations and other structures;
• Prepare estimates for materials costs and project timelines;
• Monitor project progress according to established schedules;
• Define technical specifications for civil engineering works;
• Oversee construction operations throughout all stages from conception to completion;
• Ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints and deadlines;
• Manage project teams including contractors, consultants and sub-contractors;
• Monitor safety codes and standards to ensure safety compliance;
