Welder

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components together to create a variety of structures. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the highest quality work.

Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout of welding projects
• Fit and join metal components using various welding techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
• Prepare materials for welding by grinding, cutting or cleaning them according to specifications
• Inspect welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards
• Ensure that all safety protocols are observed while operating equipment or working on the job site
• Repair any damaged or worn parts on machinery or equipment using hand tools
• Monitor equipment operation during production processes and make necessary adjustments when needed
• Maintain accurate records of all tasks performed

Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
• Ability to use hand tools such as grinders, hammers, torches etc. safely and effectively
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications accurately
• Ability to work independently or within a team setting

• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written • Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding processes • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
