Mason - Doha

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mason to join our team in Doha. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining a wide range of structures and features using brick, concrete, and other materials. You will work with other Masons to create beautiful architectural elements such as walls, archways, and floors. You will also be responsible for mixing cement to the proper consistency and ensuring that all projects are completed in a safe manner.

Responsibilities:
• Setting out construction according to drawings or plans
• Cutting bricks and stones to size using appropriate tools
• Mixing mortar or concrete by hand or machine
• Laying bricks or stones in courses for walls
• Applying plaster or stucco to surfaces
• Finishing surfaces with trowel or brush
• Installing insulation materials around masonry structures
• Ensuring safety standards are met at all times
• Working collaboratively with other professionals onsite.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Mason is essential
• Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools and equipment is required
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings is necessary
• Understanding of basic math concepts required
• Attention to detail is essential

Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy loads up to 20 kg on a regular basis • Willingness to work outside in all types of weather conditions

Salary: 900 per month
