Carpenter in Al-Kuwait, Kuwait


We are looking for a reliable and experienced Carpenter to join our Home Improvement Company in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in carpentry, as well as experience working with tools and power saws. The successful applicant will be expected to work effectively both alone and as part of a team.

We are offering an excellent salary of 1200, which could be negotiable depending upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Furthermore, we are open to considering applicants who are immigrants.

The Carpenter's main responsibilities will include:
• Cutting, shaping, and joining materials such as wood, plasterboard, and plastic laminates
• Installing fixtures such as doors, windows, stairs, cupboards, shelves using hand tools and power tools
• Measuring and marking out areas where fixtures need to be fitted
• Assembling furniture using glue, nails or screws
• Finishing carpentry projects by sanding down surfaces and applying varnish or paint
• Providing advice on the best type of materials needed for specific carpentry projects
• Completing repairs on existing structures such as walls or roofs.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills in order to liaise with other tradespeople on site. Additionally, the applicant must be organized with strong problem-solving skills so that they can work efficiently on their own or as part of a team. Above all else the individual must be safety conscious when working with power tools or other dangerous equipment.
