Fitter – Al-Kuwait

We are currently looking for a Fitter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling components, following drawings and instructions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment and develop their skills further.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Fitter include:
• Installing/removing components from mechanical assemblies.
• Assembling components accurately, following technical drawings and instructions.
• Using hand tools to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, reaming, filing etc.
• Troubleshooting any problems that arise with machinery or equipment.
• Performing regular maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working order.
• Carrying out safety checks on equipment before use.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with regulations and standards set out by the company or client.
• Working closely with other colleagues to ensure the smooth running of operations.

The ideal candidate should possess:
• Previous experience working in a similar role (preferably with knowledge of mechanical assembly).
• Excellent attention to detail when it comes to fitting parts together accurately.
• Good problem solving skills, able to identify and resolve any issues that arise quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written with colleagues from different backgrounds/cultures.

The salary for this position is 1300 per month plus benefits, depending on experience and qualifications held by the successful candidate.
