Electrician - Al-Kuwait

This position requires a qualified individual who has the technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex electrical systems, both new installations and maintenance/repair of existing ones. The successful candidate must be able to read blueprints, identify electrical problems and implement solutions quickly and efficiently.

The primary responsibilities of the Electrician include but are not limited to:
• Installing, repairing and maintaining wiring, control devices, fixtures and other electrical components
• Troubleshooting malfunctioning systems using test equipment
• Diagnosing faulty operations of electric motors, lighting systems, heating systems and other related equipment
• Inspecting electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers etc., for proper functioning
• Preparing sketches or following blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment
• Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring using testing devices
• Following all safety codes when installing or repairing any electrical component or system
• Providing assistance in other areas when needed

Job Requirements:
• Valid Electrical License from Kuwait Ministry of Electricity & Water (MEW) • Proven experience as an Electrician • Ability to read blueprints/diagrams/technical drawings • Knowledgeable about national/local electrical codes • Ability to use various test instruments (Multi-meter etc.) • Excellent problem-solving skills • Attention to detail • Great organizational skills
