The main responsibilities of the Cashier include but are not limited to:
• Welcoming customers to the store and providing them with information about products and services
• Processing payments accurately and quickly according to set procedures
• Handling cash transactions in a secure manner
• Counting money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
• Answering customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, etc.
• Managing returns or refunds courteously and professionally
• Reporting any discrepancies in sales or cash flow
• Maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area

To be successful as a Cashier at our store, you should have excellent customer service skills and an attention to detail when dealing with money transactions. You should also be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the following job requirements:
• High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience working as a Cashier is an advantage but not necessary
• Good math skills; ability to handle money accurately and quickly
• Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with customers
• Ability to work independently without supervision
