We are seeking a Civil Engineer for our Umm-al-Qaiwain office. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or related field, as well as prior experience in the field. They should also possess strong technical skills in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, construction technologies, and civil design software. The candidate must also have excellent problem solving and communication skills as well as an eye for detail.

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for:
- Preparing engineering drawings and plans for projects
- Estimating project costs
- Overseeing the progress of construction work to ensure that it is being completed according to plan
- Ensuring that all projects meet legal codes, regulations, and environmental standards
- Inspecting project sites to ensure that all designs are implemented correctly
- Monitoring quality control during the entire project process
- Acting as a liaison between clients and government agencies in order to obtain necessary permits or approvals
- Resolving any engineering issues that arise during the building process
- Developing maintenance strategies to maintain safety standards on existing structures.

The ideal candidate should have:
• A degree in civil engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering
• Knowledge of computer aided design (CAD) software
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles
• Proficiency with structural analysis programs such as STAAD Pro or AutoCAD
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings
• Excellent problem solving skills

A competitive salary package of 900 AED per month is offered for this position. We are open to considering candidates from outside the UAE if they meet all other requirements.
